The percentage of business leaders who say they believe global economic growth will improve in the next 12 months, according to PwC’s 21st survey of chief executive officers, launched on 23 January. The level is the largest ever increase since the firm began asking about global growth in 2012.

The yearly global revenues posted by RSM this month. The mid-tier firm’s consulting services expanded by 3.8 percent, while its audit and accounting line was the firm’s largest service, bringing in revenues of US$3.5 billion.

The median percentage increase in audit fees for public companies in the United States in 2016, compared with 1.6 percent in 2015, according to the annual Audit Fee Survey Report from Financial Executives International and its Financial Executives Research Foundation. Audit fees for private companies reported a median increase of 3.7 percent in 2016, as opposed to 2.9 percent in 2015.
