Crowe Horwath announced this month that it is rebranding its global network of firms, changing its name to Crowe, effective 4 June.
As part of the rebrand, more than 220 member firms around the world will adopt the name Crowe to reflect the “increasingly integrated and seamless nature of the network as well as its shared values and core purpose,” said the firm. Crowe Horwath International will be renamed Crowe Global.
The name change comes shortly after a new global chief executive officer, David Mellor, took over leadership of the network on 1 April.
In 2008, Crowe Chizek changed its name to Crowe Horwath to reflect its membership in the Horwath International network. A year later, Horwath International rebranded as Crowe Horwath International to leverage the Crowe name.
